Old rosemary type

One rosemary variety was found in Morobbia, a region of a small, remote, valley north of Bellinzona.
This variety of rosemary has been preserved in this small valley and has now become part of ProSpecieRara’s large rosemary collection in Coldrerio.

All of us are well familiar with rosemary – aren’t we ?
But did you also know, that this spice comes in a large variety of colors and scents ?

The collection in Coldrerio was set up in order to preserve this diversity; it’s important that these rare plants are not only viewed as being „beautiful“ but that we make them part of our lives and use them in our kitchen – or as a shower soap 🙂

Morobbia has received three embracing scents: tangarine, rosemary and tagetes.

Block and half-block
A whole block can be cut into 15 bars of soap weighing approximately 100 g each.
A half-block can be cut into approximately 7 bars of soap weighing 100 g each.

Liquid
Fill about 1/3 of an empty shower gel bottle with soap shavings.
Then fill the bottle with water. Shake.

After about 24 hours, most of the shavings will have dissolved and you will have your own liquid shower gel made from high-quality raw materials.
